It was February of 2020 when I created “Love is the Answer”. At that time, mixed media was not my usual style. It was different because I was different. I was an explorer, learning about the transformative energy of the heart, tuning into the positive energy of the universe, expanding consciousness and learning to live from the heart. “Love is the Answer” was a confluence of all things coming together.
Did you know the heart energy field ripples out and has an effect on the world around us?
It is a common mistake to think that heart energy is merely the emotion of love. It goes beyond thinking loving thoughts or imagining how much you love something or someone. When you tap into heart energy, it is connecting with your very essence. It has the power to heal, to create your future.
And why? Because our hearts beat at a particular frequency that facilitates gratitude, happiness, and better communication. Heart energy is the core of your long-term manifestation power because it is the real source of your emotional intelligence and strengthens your ability to manage them.
Now, I can tell you from personal experience, that it takes time and it’s a constant transformative process and sometimes I fail. But eventually anxiety, wants and needs dissipate; the Ego is replaced with compassion, forgiveness, and frustration gives was to deeper understanding. Exercising and eating better, are no longer chores but rather expressions of self-love and care. I felt different as negative emotions, blocks and previous programming were all stripped away and replaced with a certain lightness. By accessing that deeper part of myself, I became aware of the chatter, anger, frustration, and replaced it with silence and serenity.
Tapping the Wisdom and Power of Our Heart Energy
Dr. Andrew Weil’s 4-7-8 Relaxing Breath Technique is simple breath work focused on helping you learn to tap into heart energy:
To begin, bring focused attention to your heart. You can also place your hand(s) over it for a physical connection.
- Breathe in for four seconds, hold for seven seconds, exhale slowly with a wooshing sound for eight seconds. Repeat four times. This lowers the heart rate.
- Bring to mind something that makes you feel love, joy, or thankfulness. In your mind’s eye you can imagine spending time with a loved one, a pet, or in spiritual presence.
- Amplify positive emotions that come forth such as amusement, hope, or inspiration. Imagine those feelings as happy or soothing colors. Allow a smile to form.
- Visualize sending these feelings from your heart to your brain. Be as creative as you’d like, such as picturing them as healing light energy or shooting stars as your brain tingles.
- Expand to other areas of your body including cells and organs. See your cells glowing in those happy and soothing colors and, notice how they respond. Hopefully, your cells are now vibrating with the energy of joy.
In May of 2020 I donated “Love is the Answer” to the Heartland Center in Colorado in response to a Call to Artists because it was here where my journey into the heart all began.
I wrote this in hope that in time that you will also experience the same because as this experience has shown me, love really is the answer to all that you need.

Heart energy is a new concept for me but it seems interesting. I guess I’m gonna read up more about it. Thanks for introducing it 🙂

Hi Bernadette – Thank you so much for your comments. It’s been a few years since I have been studying the frequency of love and/or heart energy. The golden rule of “Follow your heart” ring true for me. It is also akin to my intuition. The heart often speaks to us quietly and with common sense while the mind tends to rationalize our desires.

This is a lovely share. Indo enjoy heart-focused breathing several times a day.

Good luck with it. I suffered from anxiety for a long time, and that little and brief calming practice is a game changer.

Hi,
I do agree. The heart is extremely important and to find the freedom we want we have to change our way of thinking. Because our thoughts come from the heart.
Welcome to the WEP also.

Thank you Patricia. I too tend to listen to the soft whispers of the heart over and above the mind that tends to rationalize our desires!

Thank you for this therapeutic post. Self-care is so important and often falls by the wayside in the hustle and bustle of everyday living.
Your painting is lovely too!
jbegue says
Thank you Michelle! Take care and thank you for the painting comment. It was not one of my best but it fit the topic, and it immediately came to mind when I discovered the topic of the month.

It is rewarding to learn that my heartbeats might affect the world around me. I hope it the positive way.
I really like your painting.
jbegue says
Thank you Olga! Living heart centered is the ultimate path. The bridge between science and spirituality actually begins with the heart. Most articles you will read speak to the heart affecting those immediately around us, but other studies show that it has a much further reach, one that extends all around us, allowing for energetic communication with all of life. Just reading this wonderful message from you activated my heart center❣️

Hi Jackie!
I’m sure that I left a comment yesterday?
jbegue says
You did, and it’s been a busy weekend for me. I was out in the wilderness hiking and enjoying nature, then I was exhausted! And I just wanted to get into the studio and create because nature is my muse. Thank you again for your comments.

Thank you Hilary as always for your feedback and comments. And I hope you employ the exercise. I find it useful on so many different levels and situations. It stills the world for a minute and brings back into the present and into your body again.

Self-love and care are definitely important. Until recently I’d let such things fall by the wayside because so many other people needed things from me. By taking care of myself, I’ve found that, in addition to feeling better myself, I have more energy to devote to others as well.
Your work is beautiful!
jbegue says
I love it that your comments come from the heart! And thank you for the feedback regarding the painting. Share the love!

Thanks for sharing this beautiful heart energy. Truly lovely.
jbegue says
Thank you Pennie. Today I was listening to astrologists speaking to the current astrological alignments, and the healing web of energy & light flooding into the world and into our bodies at a rapid pace. The key to navigating this turbulence & getting out of the brain and connecting with the heart. The energy field of the heart is 5000 times greater that that of the brain, therefore if we are centered we can connect easier with the heart. And as we hold that light within, we can support each other as we shift into the the new earth and into a new way of being. “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for”–Hopi Elders’ Prophecy.
